About Hilda Hair Salon
A neighborhood craft salon built on skill, education, and connection.
Hilda Hair Salon is the creation of lead stylist and owner Brent Perkins Scofield and esthetician Elise Dressler. Hilda exists because of the years Brent has spent dedicated to the craft of cutting and coloring hair, first working exclusively as a barber, and later expanding his skillset in women’s cutting and color while training under respected stylist Lonie Carpenter.
Brent and Elise met and fell in love while working together at Mode Salon, where they spent years refining their techniques, building strong client relationships, and discovering their shared vision for what a modern craft salon could be.
In the fall of 2024, after welcoming their twin boys, Brent and Elise felt it was time to grow not only their family, but the way they served their community.
By the spring of 2025, the idea for Hilda Hair Salon had taken root: a warm, intentional space built around skill, comfort, and genuine connection. After months of designing and building out their dream salon in a charming historic plaza, Hilda Hair opened its doors in September 2025.
Today, Hilda Hair Salon is a place where quality and care come first.
We take our time with each guest, work in a cozy retro-inspired environment with great music and good coffee, and stay committed to ongoing training and education, whether in-house or through independent study. Our goal is simple: every person who walks through our doors should feel listened to, cared for, and completely confident in the hands of their stylist.
We proudly specialize in lived-in blonding, natural color, precision cutting including shags and bobs, and classic barbering. In addition to hair services, Elise Dressler offers brow shaping and facial waxing, creating a full-service experience rooted in craft and comfort.

Brent is a precision cutter and colorist with years of experience in both barbering and women’s hairstyling. Trained under Lonie Carpenter and deeply rooted in classic technique, he specializes in shags, bobs, fades, and natural, lived-in color. His approach is thoughtful and detail-oriented, creating shapes that grow out beautifully and fit each client's lifestyle. -

Elise is a licensed esthetician offering brow shaping, facial waxing, and a curated range of esthetic services. Known for her gentle approach and eye for natural detail, she creates a relaxing experience grounded in warmth, care, and connection. Elise helps set the tone of the salon, welcoming, calm, and crafted with intention. -

Emily is a 2006 Aveda graduate known for precision cutting and naturally lived-in color. Her work is intentional and detail-focused, creating effortless, long-lasting results tailored to your routine and long-term hair goals. She brings a calm, grounded presence to every appointment, ensuring clients feel understood and beautifully taken care of.
